We offer guitar, bass and drum lessons. Each lesson is 1/2 hour long, and are given once per week, and cost $15.00 per lesson. Lessons are pay as you go. We do NOT require monthly prepayment or a signup fee like some other instructors. Lessons are given here at the shop by Mr. Rhoads who has been teaching for over 30 years. He has also been a professional musician for over 30 years and can currently be seen playing with Screamin Daisys (top 40, hip hop, rock), SONIC (classic rock) as well as L J Rockin' Acoustic (acoustic duo). He has also appeared on numerous recordings by The Dixie Pistols (Eclipse Records, California), The Reach Around Rodeo Clowns (Llist Records) as well as recording his own solo CD on Llist Records. He has played live with many bands and artists over the years including Robert Gordon (RCA Records), Charlie Gracie (check out his 50's #1 hit "Butterfly") as well as local favorites The Eyes, The L A Rockers, east coast road band Daddy C and the Allstars who played gigs from Maine to Florida, the comedy rock of Bon Fuhrer, among many, many others. Bands and artists Mr. Rhoads has played with over the years have also shared stages with many top recording stars such as The Goo Goo Dolls, Jewel, Lee Rocker of The Stray Cats among many others. He has also played at many of the top night clubs in the country including CBGB's in New York City, The 9:30 Club in Washington DC, City Limits in Ft. Lauderdale Florida among many, many others. KATHRYN E. RHOADS
Kathryn Elizabeth Rhoads, 18, of Hummelstown, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007, in the Hershey Medical Center. Her life will live on through the donation of her organs to the Gift of Life Donor Program.
Katie was born in Harrisburg on July 21, 1988.
She was a waitress at Stock’s on Second, Harrisburg, and a former teller at Commerce Bank, Hummelstown. Katie was a 2006 graduate of Hershey High School and played for the Hershey Girl’s Softball Association. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hummelstown, and its Zion Youth Group (ZYG). Katie was a talented artist; and loved going to and watching movies
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Cynthia L. Dreher Warner and David E. Warner with whom she lived; her father, James Rhoads and Peggy Wallace of Elizabethtown; one brother, Gregory Rhoads of Elizabethtown; her maternal grandparents, Richard and Dianne Dreher of West Hanover Township; paternal grandparents; Richard and Marilyn Rhoads of Manheim; step-paternal grandparents, Merle and Joyce Warner of Carlisle; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007, at 2 PM in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. Dr. Alan C. Wenrich, her pastor, Marsha L. Roscoe, Zion’s Director of Christian Education, and W. Bennett Williams, her youth group director, officiating. Interment will be in the HersheyCemetery. Friends are invited to call for a viewing Monday in the church’s parlor from 12:00 noon until the time of services.

PA SYSTEM RENTAL
We offer systems for small to medium clubs. We do single acoustic acts as well as full bands. We supply all mics, stands, cables, monitor speakers, main speakers, etc... We also setup, run and teardown the system so you can concentrate on playing music rather than trying to be both soundman and musician. We supply sound for Elizabethtown's "Arts in the Park" arts and craft show both main stage and remote system. We also do select dates with Screamin Daisys and have supplied sound to many clubs like Symposium - Lancaster, Snappers - Mechanicsburg, Hot Z Pizza - Lancaster, Chucky B's - Columbia, among many others.
